So, I'm in Egypt.
It's wonderous. I'm still kind of digesting everything.
I saw the pyramids.
I rode a camel.
It's all very surreal.
The roads and traffic are easily the most frightening and captivating thing I have ever seen. Lanes are thought of as suggestions and yielding is an unknown concept. Pedestrians fling themselves into the streets and the crs barely swerve out of the way, much less slow down. The bus we are riding around in actually clipped some guy's shoulder with its mirror. Looking at the street from my hotel balcony is like watching some sadistic real life version of Frogger. Awesome.
It's great to be in a totally different environment and be the foreigner for a change.
There's so much more to come, but my head is reeling.
